TubeSignal YouTube Evidence · public beta
Ask one public video or up to 20 videos from a channel's past month. TubeSignal returns distinct answers and links each one to original excerpts, publish dates, video URLs, and exact timestamps.
Request up to four distinct findings. Every answer points directly to supporting indexes in the evidence array.
Prepared channels search up to 20 videos in a cached 30-day corpus. This is not a single-video summary demo.
Answers follow response_language while evidence.text always preserves the original. translated_text stays separate.
REAL USE CASE
TubeSignal collects new videos from channels people care about and turns relevant moments across long, multilingual transcripts into reusable research. The same foundation is available to agents for questions such as, ‘What changed in the discussion over the past month?’
Separate recurring forecasts, risk factors, and disagreements across expert channels, with evidence for each finding.
Find relevant statements even when the brand is absent from the title, then open the exact moment.
Deliver answers in the team's UI language while retaining every original excerpt.
Provide short, citable statements and provenance as context instead of treating search results as facts.
Find public pages in robots.txt and the sitemap, then read llms.txt or the capability manifest.
Send one target and one question through OpenAPI REST or the get_youtube_evidence remote MCP tool.
Follow answers[].evidence_indices to the original excerpt and its timestamped watch_url.
Keep the same Idempotency-Key to safely replay the exact result and usage state.

A channel query searches up to 20 collected videos from the past 30 days. Check coverage.videos_searched for the actual count.
Yes. Set answer_count from 1 to 4. The API returns fewer rather than inventing findings when evidence is limited.
evidence.text is always the source transcript. When needed, a translation is added only as translated_text.
Fixed sample channels allow three successful anonymous calls every 24 hours. Requests that do not produce an answer do not consume the allowance. A verified key includes 20 successful Evidence Packs over 30 days.
TubeSignal finds statements in public YouTube videos. It does not verify claims outside the videos, explicitly abstains when evidence is insufficient, and never returns a full transcript.
