Yoo Dong-gyu Exposes Corruption by Lee Jae-myung's Associates

Yoo Dong-gyu strongly criticized Lee Jae-myung's exercise of personnel authority, pointing out that it is problematic for incompetent individuals to covet important positions.

He questioned the appointment of Ha Dong-geun, a person associated with Kim Hyun-ji, to a position as an executive at a state-owned public corporation, which is a crucial role equivalent to a Grade 1 civil servant or vice-minister.

Yoo Dong-gyu questioned the perfunctory verification process of the executive recommendation committee, arguing that ranking 8th means one should not be selected.

Kim Hyun-ji's husband was identified as someone who had worked with her in a Seongnam-area civic group in the past, and Yoo Dong-gyu asserted that Kim Hyun-ji was perpetrating actual state interference.

Yoo Dong-gyu stated, "In 2008, he ran for the National Assembly in Seongnam Bundang-갑. That's when the rumors of an affair broke out. He made a marriage announcement. He's not a celebrity, but he announced his marriage," revealing that at the time, the political circles and media suspected it was a 'hastily arranged marriage'.

Yoo Dong-gyu said, "Jeong Jin-sang suddenly told me, 'I was going to kill you,'" explaining that Jeong perceived Yoo Dong-gyu's control over remodeling as an impediment during Lee Jae-myung's mayoral election.

He particularly mentioned Baek Jong-seon, who was replaced after causing controversy by assaulting a taxi driver, and Yoo Dong-gyu claimed that the situation resembled the movie 'Asura', indicating a structure where organized crime was involved.

Citing the small social circle of the local community and the backgrounds of the individuals involved at the time, the interviewee questioned, "There's no reason to talk about Kim Hyun-ji and Lee Jae-myung having a deep relationship like that. Besides, Lee Jae-myung is a married man, so wouldn't rumors spread because someone witnessed or confirmed something?"

It was alleged that Kim Hyun-ji used the ID 'Nirvana' to engage in SNS activities, pretending to be an ordinary citizen.

It was claimed that Kim Hyun-ji had once posted on SNS about her child running towards Lee Jae-myung, with the interviewee stating, "There was a comment like, 'Mayor, I barely stopped my son from running towards you when he saw you.'"

The interviewee noted that it was unusual to close a business at a time when it should be expanding after the president's election, raising suspicions by saying, "He became president, so it should have flourished then. Are they trying to hide something? If it was fine, he could have just continued the tax accounting office."

The interviewee pointed out, "How do they always silence this? With a job. This is a method Lee Jae-myung frequently used," and continued to criticize the salary of the Korea District Heating Corporation president, the scope of corporate card use, and the management system.

He intensified his criticism by likening the opaque corporate card management to being 'enough to raise an elephant'.

Yoo Dong-gyu explained his relationship with Nam Kwang-woo, the head of the business division, when he was the head of the planning division at Seongnam Facilities Management Corporation.

He stated that Mayor Lee Jae-myung had instructed the president of Seongnam Facilities Management Corporation and others to entrust all work to Yoo Dong-gyu, and that Yoo Dong-gyu, who enjoyed Lee Jae-myung's trust, was effectively superior in rank despite his official title.

The claim that former leader Lee Hae-chan considered writer Yoo Si-min and Lee Jae-myung as potential presidential candidates, along with an anecdote that former chief secretary Jeong Jin-sang liked Lee Hae-chan and called him father, were also mentioned.

Yoo Dong-gyu said, "Didn't Lee Jae-myung take that back and make him Minister of Unification? If that's confirmed, wouldn't it cause a huge stir?" He speculated that Lee Jae-myung's reluctance to criticize former minister Jeong Dong-young's past remarks or actions regarding North Korea might be due to their past relationship.
