Kim Min-seok Orders Urgent Inspection of Lee Jong-won

Representative Kim Min-seok confirmed that Lee Jong-won of Sisa Tapas is a member of the Democratic Party of Korea in connection with the controversy over alleged manipulation of opinion polls. Accordingly, Representative Kim Min-seok issued a special directive to the ethics inspection team to conduct an urgent inspection and report on the necessity of urgent disciplinary action.

The host stated, “It has been confirmed that Lee Jong-won of Sisa Tapas is a party member in connection with the controversy over his alleged manipulation of opinion polls. The head of the ethics inspection team has changed, but since Jang In-jae may still be the deputy head, we need to pay close attention to this. A special directive was issued to conduct an urgent inspection and report on the necessity of urgent disciplinary action,” also mentioning the personnel changes in the ethics inspection team.

It has been confirmed that the Democratic Party has already filed a criminal complaint against Lee Jong-won of Sisa Tapas. Representative Kim Han-mae stated that the complaint was filed directly around last Friday or Thursday. In addition, following a press conference by Kim Sa-se and party members urging a complaint, an additional direct complaint will be filed tomorrow morning with approximately 3,000 party members.

The host said, “Representative Kim Han-mae confirmed that the Democratic Party has already filed a complaint against Lee Jong-won. New Tam-sa has launched its own website, 'Find a Judge,' as part of its judicial reform efforts, allowing easy searching of judge personnel information. New Tam-sa acquired 50,000 judge personnel appointment records and built a database, which previously could only be found by downloading PDF files from the Supreme Court website.

Through this site, simply by entering a name, information for 2,600 incumbent judges, including their current court, department, and disciplinary history, can be viewed at a glance. The host explained, “We are currently working on 'Find a Judge.' Judge names can only be found by downloading hundreds of pages of PDF files from the Supreme Court website's court public organization chart. We obtained 50,000 judge personnel appointment records, and if you just type in a name, information for 2,600 incumbent judges, including where they currently work and what they do, all appears. If you go in here, you'll see the judges who received disciplinary action. It all comes up,” emphasizing that it will contribute to improving public access to judicial information.
