Execution Attempt Ends in Medical Emergency for Death Row Inmate
Christa Pike, slated to be the first woman executed in Tennessee in 200 years, survived a lethal injection attempt and is currently receiving life-saving medical care.
After being administered two doses of ostensibly lethal drugs, Pike remained alive, with witnesses reporting that she was snoring loudly.
