Manager Sung Ha-joon: "Samsung Electronics' decline is a buying opportunity; Nvidia's earnings are key."

Manager Sung Ha-joon analyzed that despite Samsung Electronics' unprecedented shareholder return policy, if the stock price declines due to some disappointed selling, it could actually be an opportune time to buy. He believes that even if the stock price falls below a specific support line, it is likely to be perceived as a buying opportunity by many investors.

He also mentioned the possibility of other sectors rebounding if SK Hynix declines along with Samsung Electronics, emphasizing the impact of Samsung Electronics' movements on the overall market.

Nvidia's earnings announcement, scheduled for Thursday the 27th, has been identified as a critical market checkpoint. Manager Sung Ha-joon stressed that the impact of HBM and high-capacity memory shortages on product output must be confirmed in Nvidia's earnings release.

He further explained that key issues will be whether they can maintain order volumes while increasing server prices, and whether they can defend a gross profit margin of around 75%.

Regarding the KOSPI index, Manager Sung Ha-joon analyzed that firmly maintaining the 6,789-point support line is more important than simply recovering the 7,000-point mark. He explained that additional upward momentum can only be expected if this support line is not breached.

He added that if Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix both manage to hold their positions at specific price levels, KOSPI could potentially rise to at least 7,320 points or higher.

Manager Sung Ha-joon emphasized that in addition to semiconductors, the movements of power equipment-related stocks also warrant attention as leading sectors in this week's market. Power equipment-related stocks are currently accumulating within a box range, requiring investor interest, according to the analysis.

Regarding the robotics sector, he mentioned that new momentum could emerge depending on the results of Hyundai Motor's Investor Day presentation, so related trends should be watched closely. It is expected that as Hyundai Motor's robot business strategy materializes, related stocks will become more active.

In the bio sector, he suggested Alteogen, LegoChem Biosciences, D&D Pharmatech, and Hanmi Pharmaceutical as stocks of interest. These companies are evaluated as having high growth potential based on their respective technologies and pipelines.

Thus, Manager Sung Ha-joon advised that investment opportunities can be found in various sectors beyond semiconductors, implying the importance of a balanced portfolio strategy.
