Council of Ministers Approves National Administrative Structure and Digital Management Bills
The cabinet held its 59th regular meeting and adopted the Federal Administrative Organization and Authority Regulation Bill. This measure aims to establish a new administrative system following recent election results and enhance national operational efficiency.
It also established a National Data Management Law, targeting stronger data security and sovereignty, and focused on creating a foundation for active artificial intelligence (AI) research.
The cabinet solidified the financial basis for national development by approving the International Development Association loan agreement for energy sector reforms and investment projects. Amendments to federal income tax and value-added tax were also approved to streamline the tax system.
