Expert Park Byung-joo Emphasizes, “In the AI Era, We Must Overcome the Market Through Chart Analysis”

Expert Park Byung-joo had warned since June that if the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield broke through the 20-month upper limit, a correction would come to the Korean stock market. He analyzed that the current stock market correction has already progressed sufficiently and stated that preparations should be made for future market changes.

This analysis suggests the importance of understanding the correlation between major economic indicators and the stock market and responding proactively.

Expert Park Byung-joo warned that in the AI era, if one does not study charts, they might fall victim to AI. He explained that AI only provides lagging data, thereby amplifying the rise and fall of stock prices.

He emphasized the importance of reading market trends through chart analysis, which reflects human psychology and desires, and argued that one must respond to volatility that is difficult to predict with only AI's data analysis.

In particular, he pointed out that AI can further inflate pessimism when it is rampant, leading to panic selling, and stressed the necessity of contrarian investment.

Expert Park Byung-joo judged that if Samsung Electronics' stock price falls below 250,000 won, it would be an opportune time to buy.

This is a specific investment strategy based on a particular price range, emphasizing the importance of flexible response according to market conditions.

Expert Park Byung-joo stated that he made profits from short-term leveraged trades in Samsung Electronics three times in a row. He bought on July 29th and sold on July 31st, then bought again on August 6th and sold on August 13th.

Lastly, he explained that he bought when the stock price plunged on August 19th and sold when it surged on August 20th, securing profits.

He criticized the practice of chasing purchases, being swayed by favorable news such as dividends, and emphasized the importance of rational trading using technical indicators.

Expert Park Byung-joo explained that being able to buy at a low point before Samsung Electronics' treasury stock cancellation and dividend news was announced was due to 'system trading.' He emphasized the information gap between forces that know the news and buy at the low point, and individual investors who chase purchases belatedly, warning of the risks of news-based trading.

He argued that this information gap can be overcome, and profits can be generated through system trading that buys during sharp declines, emphasizing the importance of catching movements before news is reflected in the market.

Expert Park Byung-joo projected Samsung Electronics' third-quarter operating profit to reach 110 trillion won, expressing expectations for strong earnings. He stated that he would consider additional purchases after confirming whether Samsung Electronics' stock price maintains the 250,000 won level this week.

This is a strategy to manage risk and adjust buying timing using technical support levels. He also once again emphasized the importance of technical analysis, such as using the point where short-term divergence turns as a selling timing.

Expert Park Byung-joo emphasized the critical importance of understanding the KOSPI index trend. He explained that the KOSPI index is linked to ETFs, meaning that if the index falls, most stocks fall together.

He specifically stated that if semiconductor leaders like Samsung Electronics fall, it can exert significant downward pressure on the entire market. He presented a strategy to respond to the market after confirming whether the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index forms a double bottom.

He stressed the importance of understanding overall market trends and paying attention to the movements of leading stocks, emphasizing that predicting the direction of the entire index, not just individual stocks, is essential.

He stated that he avoids panic selling driven by pessimism and is preparing to make a fourth profit from Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix stocks by searching for buying points at the current bottom.

Expert Park Byung-joo warned that because AI analyzes data retrospectively, it can further amplify pessimism when it is prevalent, leading to panic selling driven by herd mentality. AI interprets the present based on past data, which can further spread pessimism and make stock prices cheaper.

He emphasized the importance of a strategy to exploit these characteristics of AI by buying at the bottom and argued that the limitations of AI must be overcome through expert chart study and understanding of causal relationships.

Expert Park Byung-joo predicted that the growth of the robotics industry would accelerate in the second half of the year and urged interest in related stocks. He mentioned that China's Unitree reached a market capitalization of 100 trillion won after its listing, and Tesla's RoboCab taxi unveiling and Optimus factory operation are scheduled for September.

He named Hyundai Wia, Hyundai Mobis, and SL as robot-related stocks, emphasizing their growth potential.

Expert Park Byung-joo strongly warned against the risks of investing in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, pointing out the deficit structure of these companies. He mentioned many cases where individual investors suffered significant losses due to pharmaceutical and biotechnology stocks, stating that there were instances where accounts worth 100 million won were reduced to 30 million won.

He emphasized the necessity of checking a company's earnings forecast before investing and urged caution against blind investment in deficit companies.

He urged continuous interest in Hyundai Motor Group's robot-related affiliates such as Hyundai Wia and SL.

Expert Park Byung-joo pointed out that Kyobo Securities' projection of LG Electronics' 2028 profit at 7 trillion won was lower than the actual figure. He argued that other brokerage firms were evaluating LG Electronics more harshly to buy it cheaply.

Expert Park predicted LG Electronics' estimated operating profit for this year to be 6 trillion won, potentially reaching 10 trillion won next year.

He specifically mentioned high expectations for new AI-related business orders, such as data center cooling systems, and emphasized the importance of focusing on a company's actual growth potential rather than blindly trusting analyst evaluations.
