Excluding the 10% who are absent for personal reasons such as discount benefits for exam tickets or stomach ailments, the actual percentage of students who take the Korean History exam at the test center and receive a score is 90%.

The total number of applicants for the 2027 CSAT was approximately 550,000, maintaining the same level as last year.

Specifically, the number of current student applicants decreased by 2.7% from 370,000 to 350,000, while graduate applicants increased from 160,000 to 170,000, clearly showing a trend of decreasing current students and increasing graduates.

The trend for 'Language and Media' is a decreasing selection rate due to its perceived difficulty and time burden in the actual CSAT exam.

In mathematics elective subjects, 'Geometry' saw its selection rate drop to 2.7% of all test-takers, with only 14,000 students choosing it.

'Calculus' was chosen by approximately 170,000 students, while 'Probability and Statistics' saw a 13% increase from the previous year, chosen by about 340,000 students, making it the most selected subject.

This year's June mock exam had a 1st-grade ratio of 4%, and the September mock exam is predicted to be over 10%, causing students to still struggle with predicting English difficulty.

The science inquiry area generally saw a sharp decline in selected students. 'Physics' dropped from 46,900 to the 34,000s, and 'Life Science' fell to the 74,000s.

'Chemistry' decreased by 22.7%, falling below 20,000, and 'Earth Science' plummeted from 110,000 to 82,000. All science inquiry subjects, especially 'level 2 subjects,' saw an almost complete wipeout in selected students.

Particular interest is focused on whether a 'level 2 subject' selector will achieve a perfect score in this year's CSAT, and requests for channel appearances have also been made to perfect scorers.

Currently, the vocational inquiry area involves choosing 'Successful Vocational Life' and one of the remaining five subjects. However, from next year, the system is expected to change primarily to 'Integrated Social Studies,' 'Integrated Science,' and 'Successful Vocational Life.'

Vocational inquiry is mostly chosen by vocational high school students aiming for on-site entry or employment.

Students often choose second foreign languages and Chinese characters but do not actually take the exam. While a separate test center is assigned for these choices, the actual attendance rate is only about 50%.

Students select these subjects for specific purposes, such as admission to Seoul National University in humanities, but do not actually take the exam, creating a discrepancy between choice and actual behavior. Since there is little difference in waiting time regardless of attendance, careful consideration is needed when choosing.

It was emphasized that concepts and problem-solving learned through school mathematics classes directly aid in preparing for CSAT mathematics, and that the gap between internal Korean exams and CSAT Korean is larger than that between internal mathematics exams and CSAT mathematics.

Conversely, it was analyzed that mathematics concepts and supplementary material studies covered in school classes directly aid in preparing for CSAT mathematics, causing subject score differences depending on school attendance.

The analysis of the 2027 CSAT application results has been completed, encouraging students to commence full-fledged exam preparation.

In particular, students were urged to maximize learning efficiency during the Chuseok holiday period and to focus on practical studies to achieve desired results in their CSAT preparations.
