Mustafa Refuses to Eat…Begum Emphasizes Women's Role in the Household

The servant reported that Mustafa requested his meals be brought to his room. As a result, Sheriar and Shabana refused to eat and raised their voices in the living room.

Loud arguments could be heard from their room. As the household conflict continued, Mustafa appeared to distance himself from the family.

Begum, who values family harmony, cited Zeb-un-Nisa as an ideal woman and criticized her family for not emulating her attitude.

She held Zeb-un-Nisa as an example for preserving the family and regretted the shortcomings of other family members' attitudes.

Mustafa complained of fatigue and expressed a desire to sleep more.

Siza explained that it was her duty to ensure the prayer time was met. She shook Mustafa awake, urging him to prepare for prayer.
