Marc Benioff highlighted this progression, stating, "We went from DOS to GUIs, and we went from GUIs to web, and we went from web to mobile. And today you're going to see AI interfaces that are dynamic and intelligent, that are composable, and alive."

AIforce represents a comprehensive integration of various technological capabilities across multiple layers, including the data layer, semantic layer, application layer, and agentic layer. This unified approach results in a powerful new system. Benioff described AIforce as a live interface designed specifically to unlock and leverage the inherent value within an enterprise, transforming how businesses operate.

According to Marc Benioff, "When you put all those things together, you get AI force. You get those capabilities, and you get this live interface that entraps the value."

This trust encompasses the secure hosting of customer data, the integrity of workflows, the reliability of business processes, and the enforcement of permissions and security rules. Salesforce is actively collaborating with Anthropic to seamlessly integrate these critical assets into an advanced agentic interface.

Benioff presented a demonstration of an interface built using Claude Co-worker, showcasing its capabilities. The interface featured a personalized dashboard, specifically tailored based on user requests, illustrating its flexibility and customization. This interface enables users to monitor global pipelines in real-time, providing immediate insights into business operations.

Marc Benioff announced, "Now, here I am inside of Claude Co-worker, and I'm about to show you my interface. So, look, this is my Salesforce. Like I said, everything that you see here is something that I specifically asked for, and Claude helped me bring it together."

This integration allows him to query Claude using Salesforce's extensive data to identify critical business insights, such as the ten biggest deals currently underway. Furthermore, he can predict the ten deals most likely to be lost, enabling proactive measures.

Benioff explained, "he uses Salesforce with Claude. He talks to Claude using Salesforce's data about, you know, what are the what are the 10 biggest deals we're doing this week?" The system also identifies prevailing themes and successful strategies within deals, providing valuable intelligence.

Siemens has integrated Salesforce as a central backbone to manage its extensive business operations. The company is now leveraging Agentforce, a comprehensive suite of AI agents that collaborate across various business functions. This deployment integrates industrial data into enterprise AI, significantly enhancing the speed and quality of work for both sales and service teams.

Marc Benioff noted, "And today, they're driving success with Agent Force, a family of agents working together across the business."

To mitigate this, Salesforce acts as a single, authoritative source of truth for product information and operational instructions. Merging this enterprise data with AI capabilities enables faster and more effective customer service, ensuring reliable outcomes.

A Siemens representative stated, "This is bringing a probabilistic technology into a deterministic world. Hallucination does not really work on the shop floor."

CoWa is a new system built upon 27 years of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) innovation and over a decade of dedicated research in AI and data. It is specifically designed to support long-running agents capable of executing multiple tasks to achieve complex outcomes. CoWa is trained on synthetic data, extending Nvidia's NeMo Tron, to ensure high performance.

Crucially, CoWa guarantees customer trust by explicitly avoiding the use of any actual customer data in its training or operation, upholding data privacy standards. Marc Benioff described CoWa as being "designed to support long-running agents that execute multiple tasks and complete complex outcomes."

Salesforce aims to transform every enterprise into an "agentic enterprise" through a three-pronged strategy. The first step involved the creation of frontier AI models, establishing a cutting edge in artificial intelligence. The second crucial component was the development of an agentic harness system, providing the infrastructure for these AI models to operate effectively. Finally, the implementation of OpenShell, described as super important, completes this foundational framework.

This strategic approach is designed to empower every company to become an AI company, integrating advanced AI capabilities directly into their core operations. Marc Benioff articulated the vision, saying, "How can we turn every single enterprise into an agentic enterprise? And so, we did several things. The first thing that we did was we created the frontier AI models. The second thing we did was create an agentic harness system. And then, the third thing, super important, is this thing called OpenShell."
