Bugs and Frustration: Far Cry 2 Day 6

KNIGHTSKULL reported that in-game glitches over the past two days made normal mission completion impossible.

With the bugs resolved, 'Day 6' finally began today, with the game's current completion at 54%.

While acquiring diamonds, it was noted that the in-game sound settings were too low, prompting an adjustment of the volume.

A new mission, 'Clean the Dogon Village', was set as the objective.

The player checked the distance from their current location to Dogon Village and began moving to undertake the mission.

During this process, they faced difficulties such as health depletion and vehicle damage from enemy attacks, leading to vehicle repairs and reorganization.

The player struggled to determine a path while moving towards the objective, encountering challenging mountainous terrain and dead ends.

Attempts were made to find alternative routes using landmarks like nearby bus stops, but continuous enemy attacks led to several crises.

In particular, enemy bomb attacks hindered the player's movement and significantly depleted health, making game progression difficult.

They suggested that the inconvenience of always having the map displayed in the top-left corner of the screen and needing to be held should be resolved.

The objective of 'cleaning' Dogon Village was successfully completed.

Hidden diamonds were discovered and acquired during the mission.

Subsequently, the player was instructed to move to the Medicine Storehouse to meet 'Back-up Nasan', a new objective, and began searching for a route.

It was observed that the village area environment had changed compared to the early stages of the game.

The question was raised whether other players also experienced changes in village buildings corresponding to increased progress.

After the player's character died in the game, the previously occurring game glitch temporarily disappeared.

Concurrently, it was confirmed that the total number of diamonds held had increased to 116.

Questioning the connection between death and glitch resolution, the player was then assigned the mission to move to 'Polytechnic' and eliminate 'Set Unia'.

Accordingly, a plan was made to move to the next objective to procure medication.

Concerns were expressed regarding the expected dangers during the journey to secure medication and the choice of the optimal route.

They showed particular interest in long-range weapons like sniper rifles, aiming to acquire better guns.

While attempting to repair or upgrade the vehicle, dissatisfaction was expressed regarding the performance of the vehicle obtained in-game.

Securing malaria medication is the most urgent priority for survival.

The player expressed dissatisfaction with the burden of having to pass through a post office route with many dangerous enemies, as well as in-game vehicle management and enemy appearances.

During combat, a fire broke out in the forest, destroying the player's favorite vehicle.

With continuous enemy appearances delaying the mission, the player regretted not having saved their progress.

Whenever the vehicle was damaged by enemy attacks, the player repeatedly performed emergency repairs to continue the game.

Even during combat, the vehicle was used as both a means of transport and defense to block enemy approach, and repair kits were used to ensure smooth movement.

The player displayed the attitude of a mercenary, prioritizing their own interests and focusing on diamond rewards rather than the conflict between in-game factions.

They expressed willingness to trade with anyone if rewards were given, and moved to a new client location.

Due to mountainous terrain, the player was unable to follow the intended path and continuously had to find alternative routes.

Despite following the map's path markers, the actual path did not match, leading to getting lost, and failure to secure a vehicle further extended travel time.

He answered viewer questions about broadcast content, saying he enjoys Minecraft or Roblox after completing current missions.

He reached near a temple but confirmed it was not the destination and had to turn back, devising a new strategy to follow the train tracks.

KNIGHTSKULL attempted a new mode of travel, detouring by boat instead of walking, and explored the route.

With the boat destroyed by enemy attacks, the player had to proceed on foot. During this, health was poor, and there were no treatment kits. Also, the firearm jammed, requiring a replacement, among other difficulties.

During gameplay, enemies continued to attack even when the player was unarmed, only carrying a map and GPS.

KNIGHTSKULL IS LIVE expressed stress over this unreasonable game mechanism and continuous hostile acts, showing dissatisfaction with the game.

The game continued without meeting 'Jackal', a crucial character.

KNIGHTSKULL IS LIVE tried to find clues about 'Jackal' throughout the game, but without clear progress, the situation remains a mystery.

Upon seeing the 4% increase, KNIGHTSKULL showed anxiety, fearing he might die again when moving to the next location.

KNIGHTSKULL IS LIVE expressed frustration with the stalled progress even after completing missions.

The target NPC for the mission was found already dead, making building entry impossible.

A glitch occurred where the game progression was blocked as permission was not granted by the gatekeeper NPC, causing difficulty for KNIGHTSKULL IS LIVE.

Repeated glitches in the game are causing difficulties in continuing the live stream.

A possibility was hinted at to stop playing Far Cry 2 and move on to the sequel, Far Cry 3.
