Imran Khan's 'Freedom March' Changes Route, Emergency Feared

With containers for the march arriving at the site, preparations for the protest are visibly underway.

Political analyst Sohail Afridi emphasized the importance of this march, foreshadowing an announcement that will significantly impact Pakistan's future political landscape.

The opening ceremony of the Hayatabad Underpass, attended by Sohail Afridi, drew a much larger crowd than expected, demonstrating strong public support.

A powerful connection was formed where the crowd immediately responded to the speaker's slogans and reacted to the speeches, a phenomenon rarely seen in typical political rallies.

The cohesion of the public, who gathered voluntarily without financial incentives or meals, is at a level difficult for other political parties to replicate, and this is analyzed as a characteristic of Imran Khan's support base.

The Long March led by Imran Khan on May 25, 2022, was recorded as the largest protest in history, demonstrating strong public support.

However, the Islamabad D-Chowk march on November 26 of the same year, led by Ali Amin Gandapur, ended in bloodshed, highlighting the importance of managing protest violence and routes.

Past large-scale marches led by prominent politicians like Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif are mentioned, and Imran Khan's current march is also drawing attention as a potential significant turning point in Pakistan's political history.

The designation of D.I. Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur's constituency, as the starting point is analyzed as an opportunity to test his influence and mobilization capability.

Unlike previous marches, this Long March will start from D.I. Khan, pass through southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and head to Peshawar. It is anticipated that if Ali Amin Gandapur fails to mobilize a large number of people or if there is a mid-march defection, he will inevitably face political damage on social media and elsewhere. If a large number of people are not secured or if there is a mid-march defection, it is analyzed that political damage is inevitable, especially on social media.

If Gandapur fails to mobilize a large number of people or if there is a defection of the public during the march, it is analyzed that he could suffer political damage through social media.

In this Long March, the role of Shahid Khattak is significantly highlighted. Shahid Khattak is a loyal figure to Sohail Afridi, and large-scale mobilization is expected in his region, Karak.

The experience of a large welcome in this region during Aleema Khan's past visit seems to have influenced this route selection, and plans are to rally support by passing through Sohail Afridi's areas of influence, including Bannu, Kohat, and Waziristan.

If governor's rule or an emergency is declared before the Long March reaches Peshawar, protesters are highly likely to respond aggressively by besieging the Governor House.

This is expected to create a new political scenario that could expand beyond Imran Khan's personal issues to demands for the protection of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's delegated powers and the restoration of residents' mandates.

There is also speculation that a political compromise might emerge, similar to the 2009 Punjab case, where the government was restored and Imran Khan was transported to a hospital.

The government's excessive blockade policy creates a political dilemma, as it could easily help the protesters achieve their goals, and maintaining a prolonged city blockade would also be a significant burden on the government.

Article 232 of the Pakistani Constitution stipulates the conditions for declaring a national emergency and restricting fundamental rights, citing internal unrest, external threats, and significant government failure as main grounds.

Article 234 of the Constitution outlines the procedures for implementing Governor's Rule and specifies the President's role, providing a legal basis for the government to utilize it during political turmoil.

However, criticism is being raised that the government and establishment, while emphasizing Articles 232 and 234 of the Constitution, are ignoring Article 16, which specifies citizens' fundamental rights.

Fake statements under the name of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are being circulated, spreading false information that the PTI or Imran Khan's side supports the TTP. The PTI does not support the TTP and has criticized their past crimes.

Suspicions are being raised that political adversaries are using these fake statements to attack PTI politicians like Ali Amin Gandapur, leading to claims that intelligence agencies or the establishment are using manipulated information to incite public hatred.

Despite court orders for release, Pakistan's judicial system, where police extend detention by fabricating charges in other cases, is criticized for being arbitrarily operated under government directives. The unfair practice in Pakistan's judicial system of ignoring court orders and operating arbitrarily under government directives is recurring.

This situation demonstrates that Pakistan's judicial system operates arbitrarily under government directives and that even court release orders can be ignored.

His academic records also show repeated failures and re-examinations in his secondary education, leading to criticism of a systemic issue where unqualified individuals are appointed as judges.

It is argued that if he entered law school (LLB) without a bachelor's degree, the admission itself is invalid, and issues of fairness are emphasized when compared to previous cases of judges being dismissed. If he entered law school without a bachelor's degree, it is argued that the admission itself is invalid, and questions are raised about the fairness of his degree being accepted without issue, despite other judges having been dismissed over degree problems in the past.

If he entered law school without a bachelor's degree, the admission itself is argued to be invalid, and questions are raised about the situation where his degree is accepted without issue despite other judges having been dismissed for degree problems.

Judicial authorities deny his detention, which he has refused to compromise with the government, concealing his whereabouts. Controversy intensifies as his whereabouts remain unknown, an individual who asserted Kashmiri rights and refused to compromise with the government.

Despite video evidence of the arrest, authorities' denial is drawing strong criticism, and he is known as a figure who advocated for Kashmiri rights and did not compromise with the government.

An intruder entered the cockpit of Flydubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai, injuring two pilots. Various claims are being made regarding the motive of the intrusion, including a terror plot and a simple disturbance.

The intervention of Israeli national passengers on board prevented further casualties, and the aircraft made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

Emergency codes 7500 (hijacking) and 7700 (emergency) were broadcast from the cockpit, indicating a serious situation.

Immediately after the incident, international emergency responses were initiated, including the scramble of the Israeli Air Force and a 'Hyalert' (emergency alert) issued at Dubai Airport. Emergency signals such as '7500 (hijacking)' were detected inside the aircraft.

Experts predict that this incident will lead to significant changes in global aviation security, similar to how aviation security regulations were substantially revised after the 9/11 attacks.
