Greg Bovino Regrets Not Using More Tear Gas During Chicago Confrontation

Former Border Patrol Commander-at-Large Greg Bovino detailed the legal repercussions he faced after the confrontation in Little Village, Chicago. He described being brought before what he called an “activist judge” following the incident. According to Bovino, the judge treated him like a “school kid” and ordered him to report to the court every day.

Bovino expressed regret over the resources available during the Little Village operation, describing the situation as “dire” and “scary.” He maintained that the operation was lawful and protected by constitutional rights. Bovino stated that, if given the opportunity to repeat the incident, he would have brought approximately 50 gas canisters and deployed even more, believing it was necessary for the situation.

Bovino elaborated on the types of individuals targeted during Operation Midway Blitz, stating that many had significant criminal histories. He highlighted examples such as child rapists and potential terrorists within the communities. Bovino criticized activists for protecting these specific individuals, emphasizing their dangerous pasts.

Bovino recounted an incident where a child rapist was identified in front of a Home Depot, preparing to enter someone's home for work. When agents attempted to apprehend the individual, they were met by what Bovino described as a “violent mob.” He expressed confusion and frustration over why the community would choose to protect such a criminal.

Bovino outlined several ways the public can assist in immigration enforcement, encouraging citizens to submit tips through online platforms, the ICE tip line, or by directly approaching a Border Patrol agent. He noted that these tips have proven “very beneficial” to their operations. Bovino stressed that public engagement and the spread of information are crucial to transform enforcement efforts into a broader “movement.”

Bovino articulated the primary objective of their efforts: to remove individuals who entered the country under the previous administration, emphasizing the goal of preventing future harm. He referenced 'angel moms' as a driving motivation behind these efforts. Bovino underscored the critical need to prevent more Americans from becoming victims of illegal aliens, stating that thousands die as a result.
