Kim Hyun-ji argued that while she is not on the personnel line, her name being mentioned even by ruling party figures suggests she is not entirely unrelated to personnel matters. Former Representative Song Young-gil's disqualification remarks were cited as evidence of such personnel vetting failures, which is fueling distrust in the political sphere's internal personnel system.
