Giuliani Strongly Criticizes Mandani's Eligibility for 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
Jump to 0:32Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani publicly opposed New York City Council Member Zohran Mandani's attendance at the 9/11 memorial ceremony, ahead of the event. Giuliani asserted that Council Member Mandani should not even come near the ceremony commemorating the 9/11 tragedy and is not qualified to do so.
Council Member Mandani sparked controversy by referring to the 9/11 attacks as “the worst thing that started Islamophobia in this country.” Consequently, the community and families of 9/11 victims are strongly protesting Council Member Mandani's attendance at the ceremony.
