The Origin of Tunnels to Towers: Stephen Siller's 9/11 Sacrifice
Siller, after parking his car near the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, grabbed 75 pounds of gear and ran two miles to the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
He ultimately lost his life while dedicating himself to saving others amidst the chaos and destruction of that tragic day.
His selflessness became the inspiration for the foundation, established by his family to honor his memory and continue his legacy of service.
