Philippines Acquires Two Former US Patrol Boats

These vessels, previously known as USCGC Marlin and USCGC Bluefin, have been renamed BRP Pag-asa (PTS2701) and BRP Patad (PTS2702), respectively. They are scheduled to arrive in Manila in October 2026, integrating into the Philippine maritime security operations.
