RAV Breaks Media Boycott of Trump UN Trip

With major U.S. television networks—Fox News included—withdrawing from pool duties, the MSM initiated a boycott on the first day of the UN General Assembly trip.

President Trump stated he had an obligation to exclude these outlets, labeling them 'fake news,' while Real America's Voice (RAV) became the only organization traveling with the President to provide coverage.

RAV established a dedicated email address, pool@americasvoice.news, to facilitate the distribution of this footage.

Posobiec reported that, as of his statement, no official requests from mainstream networks had been received.

"We have disintermediated you. But more to the point, and I do have information on this for everyone to make sure that we're not, you know, cuz I saw some people saying that we were only providing unilateral coverage. No, it's not unilateral. Real America's Voice is more than happy to offer this feed to everyone out there."

Posobiec asserted that mainstream media is 'melting down' because they have lost their historical monopoly on content distribution.

He argued that new media platforms are 'ascendant' and fully capable of providing any requested technical ingest or live stream services.

"The problem is is that new media is beating dinosaur media and all these people say, 'Oh, you can't distribute it.' No, we just we do distribution all day long."

Editorial freedom is considered distinct from facility access by the administration, prompting CNN, MSNBC, and Politico to charge that the withdrawal of hard-pass privileges violates their constitutional protections.

The White House, however, contends that the First Amendment protects the media's right to publish but does not guarantee an automatic right to a hard pass or a seat in the briefing room, maintaining a distinction between editorial freedom and facility access.

"The White House says the First Amendment protects the media's right to, you know, publish, but it does not give news organizations an automatic right to a White House hard pass like you were seeing a seat in the briefing room or a place the president you know talking about the president's press pool."

CNN was initially designated for the television pool during President Trump's UN General Assembly trip.

After the White House blocked CNN, other major networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox opted not to serve as replacements.

Real America's Voice (RAV) was subsequently designated as the secondary correspondent and has taken over camera duties for the trip, with its team now on the ground providing video coverage.

The network is providing its footage freely to all organizations to ensure the president's movements are comprehensively covered.

Caitlyn Collins had previously reported that there would be 'no TV camera' broadcasting President Trump's actions.

The host later pointed out that the same reporter was physically present and covering the president at that very moment.

The host questioned the accuracy of applying the term 'boycott' to describe the situation, given the reporter's direct involvement in coverage.

"Caitlyn Collins said there's going to be no camera and now she's right there covering the whole thing. I don't think she knows what the word boycott means."

He noted a corresponding increase in domestic diesel fuel costs following these developments, linking the two events.

Diesel fuel prices have risen significantly in the wake of recent events impacting Russian infrastructure.
