A chat message threatening to kill Representative Lee Jae-myung has been confirmed as fabricated, causing significant ripples in political circles. Some media outlets, including Gobalnews, broadcasted the message without realizing it was fabricated, fueling the controversy.

New 탐사 has expressed its stance that the truth behind the fabricated chat message must be clearly revealed, emphasizing the seriousness of spreading false information.

As Lee Jong-won and others raised suspicions that New 탐사 was involved in fabricating the Lee Jae-myung assassination threat, New 탐사 strongly denied it, criticizing it as an attempt to shift the narrative. New 탐사 expressed concern that attempts to divide the democratic-progressive camp were occurring.

New 탐사 asserted that they could not have been involved in the fabrication conspiracy and that this was an attempt by the opposing side to distort the facts.

There are signs of division within the democratic-progressive camp, hindering unity, and criticism has been raised that Lee Jong-won is using specific factions as an opportunity for attack. Someone fabricated it. And who are those fabricators? They are New 탐사 supporters,” asserting that New 탐사 supporters were behind the fabricated message.
