Texas Cracks Down on Illegal Voting by Foreign Nationals
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is also running for the US Senate, announced the arrest of seven foreign nationals for illegally voting in the 2024 election. These non-citizens face federal charges related to their alleged participation in the electoral process, prompting collaboration between Paxton’s office, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, the FBI, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Democrats have previously dismissed claims of widespread illegal voting, but evidence cited includes tens of thousands of individuals on voter rolls and hundreds of confirmed illegal votes. This crackdown comes as a direct challenge to past narratives, reinforcing concerns about election integrity and the enforcement of voting laws.
