Japan Arms Philippines Amid Rising Tensions with China

Japan and the Philippines have agreed to expedite discussions on transferring significant defense equipment to Manila. This includes the provision of Abukuma-class vessels, TC-90 aircraft, and advanced radar systems. These transfers are part of a broader effort to enhance the Philippines' maritime defense capabilities.

The defense partnership between Japan and the Philippines is comprehensive, extending beyond just equipment provision.
