Navarro: Fox Pulled Me Over Trump China Speech

The interview opened with Navarro drawing a line between the networks he says are openly aligned with the left and the one conservatives assume is on their side. As he put it, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post 'speak the gospel of the left wing.'

The problem, in his telling, is that 'too many people think that Fox News speaks the gospel of Trump and conservatism and it does not.' His proof, he said, is the treatment of Maria Bartiromo by CEO Suzanne Scott. He then set up the timeline he would walk through.

Trump was scheduled for July 15 to give a rare primetime address on Communist China's capabilities to interfere in American elections. Navarro noted that primetime presidential addresses are historically carried by every outlet, 'left, right, or center.'

Bartiromo booked him for the next morning. About two hours later she texted him that he had been taken off the air. The instruction, he said, came from Suzanne Scott's chief enforcer, a high-ranking executive producer named Ralph Giordano, Fox Business's programming chief. The text, quoted on air, read: 'Hi. We don't want to promote it, the president's speech, or push to the speech at all.' It continued: 'We don't want to do 2020 election segments at all Thursday or Friday.'

Navarro told Bannon to 'grasp the significance of that.' In his words, Fox News was 'basically censoring a primetime address and any discussion after it.'

Sean Hannity fought hard to at least get the network to livestream the speech. He prevailed, and gave the address five minutes into his show that night.

The next morning, according to Navarro, Fox & Friends did not even mention that a president had addressed the nation.

He characterized the omission as a slap at the president and at every Fox viewer who tuned in expecting analysis and got censorship instead.

He named others he says are banned: Don Jr., Rudy, Laura Loomer, John Solomon, and Kash Patel before he became FBI director. The framing he offered was that Fox does not just silence the message, it 'disappears the messengers themselves.'

He wrote the call up in a Washington Times article and applauded the paper for running it, predicting Fox would pressure them 'like Fox always does.'

First, Navarro said Suzanne Scott should 'prostrate herself before President Trump' for disrespecting the office and for suppressing MAGA news. Second, she should apologize to Maria Bartiromo for punishing 'at worst a minor infraction and at best an act of journalistic integrity.'

Third, put Bartiromo 'right back in the anchor chair,' and fourth, lift the shadow ban on Trump surrogates, 'and do it quickly.' His stated reason was the November election: the administration is heading into a critical contest at full strength, and he says Fox is 'choking off surrogates who could speak and help win that election.'

His closing demand was that Scott resign.

Bannon told Navarro he was missing the point by personalizing the fight to Suzanne Scott. His own reading: 'I think they want us to lose the midterm elections and they want Trump impeached.'

He traced the network's leadership back to the Bush and Roger Ailes era, calling Ailes one of his mentors whom he revered. When Bannon was running Breitbart, Ailes told him: 'Half the stuff you say is crazy.' Ailes also said populism would never work and that 'we're all globalist.' Bannon noted that Ailes ran Bush 41's campaign, or was its media guy.

His conclusion was that the leadership is 'old school.'

Bannon put the question directly to Natalie Winters: whether her generation, or even younger ones, fully understands what happened on 9/11. His answer was that it isn't taught in schools, and that the media has an effective ban on showing any of the aircraft. On network newscasts, he said, you very rarely see it anymore.

He credited her recent reporting with shocking 'the Islamists,' and cited weekend claims that Muslims make up under 1% of the population and that criticism of Islam is dismissed as Islamophobia. He also referenced Rudy Giuliani's remark that the worst thing about 9/11 was that it started Islamophobia.

Winters said she was born in February 2001, so she was alive on 9/11 but 'certainly not cognizant' of it. She graduated high school in 2019.

By the end of her time there, she said, the school 'weren't honoring 9/11.' It would fly flags for a transgender day of remembrance. Her stated reason was that the school did not want to be an inconvenience or be rude to the three Muslim students who attended.

She said she worked for War Room instead of immersing herself in college, and named the University of Chicago, where she said Abdul El-Sayed's sister teaches. She attributed her own understanding that the Chinese Communist Party was the existential threat to spending time around people like Peter Navarro.

He then asked her to describe what he called the hardcore ideological formation that punches out person after person who is, in his words, 'anti-white, anti-male, anti-Christian' and who 'essentially hate the nation.'

He noted that older audience members are in shock at young people pushing communism.

Winters said that within about a year and a half, a teacher at her school became non-binary, dyed their hair purple, and celebrated being able to mark an X pronoun on a California driver's license.

She said a kid who had been her friend told her directly that this teacher had made them realize they were trans. The school also did Romeo and Juliet as a trans rendition and created more all-gender bathrooms, she said.

Winters said teachers threatened to beat her up for daring to support Trump. She argued the institutions become immune to being taken back over because they rewrite the history and change the student body, demographics and admissions committees — a comparison she drew to the Soviet Union.

Winters described a class that she first called American history, then corrected to European history. The AP Euro textbook contained one battle in which blacks allegedly beat whites, and she said 30 lessons were taught on it because the material had to be equitable.

After the lesson, a black girl in the class raised her hand and asked why they don't learn more about the times the blacks beat the Europeans.

Winters called it a telling moment, saying: 'This is what these people are being taught.'

The East Plano Islamic Center, the mosque affiliated with Epic City, has been an official voting location in November 2023, the March 2024 primaries and May 2025, according to Winters. It is unclear whether it will serve as one in 2026, she said, and she encouraged 'our Texas patriots to be all up in that' and to call and find out.

Mosque leaders, she said, brag that thousands of voters come through.

She also flagged a Minnesota nonprofit called Al Ma'oun that received nearly $3 million in taxpayer funds in state grants. The organization set up a voter assistance tent offering voter registration and mail-in ballot assistance.

It offers free rides during prayer time from the Masjid on Noor to the Minneapolis early vote center. The flyer's slogan, as she read it, is 'we'll help, we'll drive, you vote.' She tied the Minnesota grants to the broader fraud seen in that state.

Winters said all of this is being institutionalized even more, and that the audience is hearing it first. Her claim is that she exclusively uncovered and broke all of these stories. She pointed viewers to her X handle and her Substack.

She described Sharia-compliant loans from Islamic banks used to secure and pay down a VA loan, with the payment going to an Islamic community bank.

Her own reaction was that she is 'not quite sure how that one makes sense.'

Winters said the Islamic Scholarship Fund's funding is 'quite nebulous,' though some big American corporations, including PayPal, donate to it.

She read from ISF materials describing 'direct intervention designed to put Muslim voices in positions of power and influence,' an 'incubator model spanning politics, law, and media and film' to 'build political power and shape our narrative.'

The five-year plan promises a 'multiplier effect across key decision-making spaces,' and the 2026 theme was 'pathways to influence.' She cited $40,000 paid to congressional fellows working in offices including Ilhan Omar, AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Pramila Jayapal, Ayanna Pressley and Delia Ramirez. Some fellows, she said, end up hired full-time.

Winters described a man she identified as a CCP Thousand Talents leader — a program she said the FBI has arrested dozens over, though she believes it should have arrested thousands, for theft of American data and science.

He worked at CCP-run institutions including Tsinghua University while serving as an advisor to a national EPA committee on the safety of America's drinking water. The EPA role was years ago and is not active anymore, she said. His name is Yufeng Shi.

Records show he was working for the CCP 'simultaneously' while holding that EPA position. He was also, at the time, an advisor to China's housing ministry.

She said he got access to restricted and private data on Houston's water system — reservoirs, tanks, valves, pumps and pipes — in a taxpayer-funded study. She linked it to the earlier Houston consulate episode, saying 'all roads always lead to Texas,' and said the story was never shared and probably will not be again except for this segment.
