Most Companies Deploy AI, But Few Scale for Impact
A significant majority, 80-90% of companies, state they have deployed AI or agents in some form, according to Prakhar. However, despite this high reported adoption rate, a much smaller proportion—less than a third—has successfully scaled these initiatives or realized tangible business impact from them.
Many organizations find themselves stuck in the initial stages of AI implementation, primarily within small-scale Proof of Concept (POC) environments. This indicates a widespread challenge in transitioning from experimental AI use to enterprise-wide integration and measurable value generation.
