Exclusive Interview with 'Simon,' Accused by Lee Jong-won of Chat Manipulation and Initial Dissemination

Mr. Simon explained that Jeong Min-cheol's remark calling him 'legendary' was an evaluation of Simon's ability to uncover the connection between the forces occupying Olympic Park and a group called 'Freedom and Innovation.' This incident contributed to proving that Hwang Kyo-ahn's faction was behind far-right activities, and Mr. Jeong Min-cheol's comment, he claimed, was an acknowledgment of Simon's information tracking ability, not merely a friendly gesture.

Mr. Simon emphasized that his activities played a significant role in revealing the true nature of certain far-right forces and clarified that this information was obtained through actual tracking, not manipulation.

Mr. Simon revealed that the phrase 'Freedom and Innovation' was explicitly stated on the event banner of the forces occupying Olympic Park, and a photo of this banner was exposed through Hwang Kyo-ahn TV. This was presented as evidence suggesting a relationship between certain far-right forces and Hwang Kyo-ahn TV.

This information became an important clue in uncovering the organized activities of far-right forces and their backing, and Mr. Simon explained that he used it to expose the existence of these forces.

On February 18, information that the Western District Court riot forces were preparing to enter the National Assembly was obtained in advance through Mr. Simon, and he claimed that by warning about it beforehand, the danger was neutralized. He explained that a potential violent incident was prevented through this report.

Mr. Simon emphasized that these reporting activities played a crucial role in anticipating and responding to the plans of far-right forces in advance.

Mr. Simon stated that he has not been active as a member of any specific political party since leaving the Democratic Party during the Jo Kuk scandal in 2019. He emphasized that he is not part of the 'Yoon Again' faction and that his main purpose is to continuously inform and warn society about the dangerous far-right forces.

He refuted the 'Yoon Again' framing repeatedly imposed on him, clarifying that his activities are focused on warning about social dangers, not on supporting a specific political party.

Mr. Simon claimed that after Lee Jong-won publicly identified him on air as 'the person who initially disseminated manipulated chat messages' or 'the person who actually manipulated them,' a large-scale 'targeting' and 'public shaming' against him began. He stated that doxxing of Mr. Simon is currently underway, and malicious comments and slander are spreading.

Mr. Simon criticized Lee Jong-won's claims for unfairly stigmatizing him and making him a target of social attacks, emphasizing that he is suffering serious harm as a result of these actions.
