UK Airspace Restricted, Hundreds of Flights Delayed

Dozens of flights across Scotland, Northern Ireland, and parts of Northern England have been delayed and cancelled following air traffic control issues.

Passengers are advised to check their flight status online ahead of time to account for the disruptions.

Travel journalist Simon Calder reported dozens of cancellations, specifically noting that EasyJet alone has cancelled at least a dozen flights in and out of Glasgow and Edinburgh.

British Airways services to and from London Heathrow are also affected, with current flight delays reaching up to four hours, compounding issues from a previous system failure less than two weeks ago.
