Jump to 6:00Manila is targeting an acquisition of 50 vessels to enhance its patrols in the West Philippine Sea, a critical region for the Philippines. This expansion includes 40 vessels from France, five Japanese-funded Multi-Role Response Vessels (MRRVs), and the integration of US Marine Protector Class boats.
