Lee Jong-won's actions can be classified as a new type of election interference crime using YouTube media, suggesting its seriousness when compared to past precedents.

The issue of Lee Jong-won's public opinion poll manipulation was brought to public attention at the Democratic Party of Korea's Supreme Council meeting. Supreme Council member Kim Min-seok expressed a firm stance, stating that he would directly undertake a legal review of the matter.
