Lee Sang-ho, who received a prison sentence in the Kim Bong-hyun case, has resumed political activities by supporting Representative Chung Cheong-rae's national convention campaign.
He preemptively mentioned Representative Chung Cheong-rae's victory in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) regional primary, allowing supporters to express joy. Lee Sang-ho wrote, "You feel good, don't you? I'll allow you joy for just one night."
This result was somewhat embarrassing for Representative Chung Cheong-rae's side.
Such a single-digit victory likely made it difficult to show arrogance, differing from initial expectations.
This was the main reason for his political hiatus.
Since resuming activities, he has primarily posted about Representative Chung Cheong-rae, engaging in support activities.
Then, suddenly, he started Facebook again on March 22nd of this year. After six years.
He provided advice and lectures at places like Representative Moon Dae-rim's office and Kim Kyung-soo's campaign, and actively participated in promoting candidates for Busan Jin-gu District Chief and North District candidate Jeong Myeong-hee.
Lee Sang-ho criticized Jeonbuk Governor Kim Kwan-young, stating, "Kim Kwan-young will be 100% out this time." He expressed doubt, claiming that Governor Kim was likely in a position to access significant internal secrets.
He engaged in activities supporting Representative Chung Cheong-rae by evoking memories of President Roh Moo-hyun.
He criticized Kang's 'third way' argument as opportunism, and was seen as leading the charge against Kang as a strategist for Chung Cheong-rae's faction.
He appears to be the most active and plays a crucial role among Representative Chung Cheong-rae's advisors.
In the 2021 presidential primary, he sided with candidate Lee Nak-yeon and actively defended Lee Nak-yeon's brother regarding allegations of stock manipulation involving Sambuto Construction.
They criticized these actions as "disrespectful to the deceased president" and an act of exploiting President Roh Moo-hyun.
