A migrant dinghy landed on a Kent beach without detection, with some individuals reportedly fleeing before authorities arrived.
The authorities were only alerted to the incident after a GB News producer, Chris, contacted the Coast Guard, suggesting a significant oversight in coastal monitoring. Up to 10 people are believed to have been on board the vessel.
Chris then used a telephoto lens to confirm the presence of the boat, which eventually arrived at a rocky beach known as 'the Warren'.
Upon reaching the beach, the migrants had already dispersed, with many believed to have fled the scene.
Producer Chris, a former forces member, managed to catch up with three of the individuals who remained.
Chris successfully persuaded these three migrants to stay at the location until the police arrived.
The incident highlights the challenges authorities face in securing coastlines and managing migrant arrivals.
