Amid an influx of buying from individual investors and supply and demand from foreign investors in some stocks, the semiconductor market is experiencing a continuous supply shortage due to increasing AI demand. This shortage extends to memory, non-memory semiconductors, and even substrates. Manager Kim Heung-tae analyzed the current situation, saying, "Because demand is rising so powerfully, I believe the supply shortage will continue."
As news of AI data center investments continues, demand is further increasing. Conversely, supply is difficult to resolve in the short term. No matter how much production increases, it is difficult to solve the immediate supply shortage problem.
In this situation, semiconductor-related companies, especially those in the equipment sector, are highly likely to move first. Manager Kim emphasized, "Especially with news of investments in AI data centers, and because even with increased production, supply cannot be resolved immediately, semiconductor-related companies, especially equipment sectors, can move first, so it would be good to pay attention to those sectors." Therefore, continued interest in these sectors is necessary.
