Controversy over Pakistan government's armored vehicle imports and helicopter purchases
CM KPK Sohail Khan Afridi pointed out in his speech at the inauguration ceremony of the Hayatabad Flyover that the Pakistani government wasted its budget by importing armored vehicles from Arab countries.
He criticized Pakistan, which currently has a national debt of 99 trillion dollars, for purchasing helicopters worth 11 billion dollars and spending 6 billion dollars of the national budget for a mere three-day event.
