Navarro Alleges Fox News 'Shadow Ban'

Peter Navarro asserts that Fox News does not genuinely represent the views of Trump or conservatism, contradicting the perception held by many.

He points to the dismissal of Maria Bartiromo by CEO Suzanne Scott as definitive proof of corporate censorship and active suppression of specific political topics by Fox management.

President Trump had scheduled a prime-time address to discuss Communist China's alleged interference in the election, but Fox Business programming chief Ralph Giordano reportedly sent a text message rejecting coverage of the speech.

The internal mandate, as revealed by Navarro, explicitly stated, "We don't want to promote it" and "We don't want to do 2020 election segments at all Thursday or Friday."

Although Sean Hannity intervened to get the speech live-streamed, other programs on the network reportedly ignored the address.

Navarro shared the internal text with the White House and detailed the "Fox golden muzzle" that Maria Bartiromo allegedly received, which involved paying out her contract while barring her from appearing on rival networks.

He claims that Suzanne Scott's business model for Fox involves navigating the interests of MAGA viewers and advertisers who might not support Trump, leading the network to keep content within specific ideological guardrails.

Navarro employs the Chinese proverb "kill the chicken, scare the monkey" to illustrate the management tactics at Fox News, suggesting that leadership has effectively removed dissenting voices.

He alleges that a cadre of "New York liberals" among Fox News producers actively suppresses conservative content and that management has purged anyone who deviates from the network's internal constraints, leaving only compliant staff.

Despite having the highest-rated show on Sundays, where she beat 'Meet the Press' and 'Face the Nation' like a drum every weekend, Maria Bartiromo was removed from the network because of ideological alignment rather than advertiser offense, according to reports that predict no solidarity walk-out will occur at Fox.

Navarro contends that her removal was not due to advertiser offense but rather ideological alignment, and he predicts that no solidarity walk-out will occur at Fox in her support.

Navarro identifies Ralph Giordano as a key figure in the alleged producer-led suppression of MAGA-related stories and claims to be a primary target of the ban due to his work on election integrity, Big Pharma, and China policy.

He lists Don Jr., Rudy Giuliani, Laura Loomer, John Solomon, and Kash Patel as other individuals who have been blacklisted, explaining that the "shadow ban" operates by producers simply ceasing to contact unwanted guests.

Peter Navarro calls for Suzanne Scott to apologize to Maria Bartiromo and reinstate her, urging Fox to lift the shadow ban on Trump surrogates before the November election.

He suggests Scott should resign from her position at the network and encourages Fox viewers to transition to alternative media sources such as 'Real America's Voice'.

Steve Bannon claims the current Fox News leadership operates with a globalist, "old school" philosophy rooted in the Bush era, suggesting they deliberately work against the MAGA movement and conservative election goals.

He points out that Roger Ailes, a former mentor, was openly skeptical of nationalism and the populist movement, further arguing that the network's goal is to see Trump impeached and the Republican party lose midterm elections.

He references Roger Ailes, noting Ailes's opposition to populism and nationalism and his assertion that populist rhetoric would never succeed, indicating a long-standing ideological rift within the network's old guard.

Bannon highlights that securing live coverage of Trump's speech required a significant internal struggle, underscoring the resistance within Fox News.

He describes Maria Bartiromo's contract as "golden handcuffs," claiming it was designed to keep her away from pro-MAGA segments until after the 2020 election, a tactic he suggests was also used against Lou Dobbs.

The book is scheduled for release on October 13th, and Navarro urges viewers to pre-order it via Amazon.

Peter Navarro suggests that Fox viewers have a clear choice in their media consumption and should consider switching to platforms like Real America's Voice.
