DeSantis Endorses Donalds for Florida Governor

Eric Bolling confirmed her departure, noting she had been off-air for approximately three and a half weeks prior to the news. No official statement has been released by Fox News regarding the reasons for her exit.

Bolling speculated on Bartiromo's future, suggesting she might pursue opportunities in podcasting or other media ventures. The lack of an official statement from the network has left the details of her departure unclear, prompting discussion among media observers.

He stated his focus on achieving results and ensuring accountability, particularly by removing failing leaders from their positions. Crow highlighted the importance of using all available legislative tools to address systemic issues.

Crow reiterated his commitment to seeing tangible changes and ensuring that those in power are held responsible for their actions. His remarks underscore a broader push for greater oversight and consequence within government.

Bolling challenged Crow's legislative record, particularly concerning issues at the border and rising crime rates, suggesting that the effectiveness of current accountability measures is debatable. This exchange highlighted differing views on the most effective strategies for addressing national challenges.

Eric Bolling observed a growing unity among left-wing factions, noting a tendency for the left to 'circle the wagons' in support of their candidates, even those from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) who might be considered more extreme. This contrasts sharply with internal strife seen within the Republican party, particularly concerning the MAGA movement's integration.

Bolling suggested that despite ideological differences, Democrats appear more unified in their electoral strategies compared to the internal divisions often experienced by Republicans. This cohesion allows them to present a more united front in elections, even when backing candidates across a broader ideological spectrum.

He rejected their expressions of sympathy, stating, "I reject your guys' sympathy. To be honest with you, there's no way you guys are sorry. Not one of you guys have ever called me." Coleman's emotional testimony underscored a perceived disconnect between legislators and the impacted community.

Coleman condemned sanctuary city policies, arguing they contribute to unsafe environments and a lack of accountability for certain crimes. He directly linked these policies to the circumstances surrounding his daughter's death, demanding legislative action to address what he views as dangerous loopholes.

Eric Bolling noted the visual reaction of Congress members during Coleman's testimony, describing them as appearing 'dead in the water.' This observation highlighted the intense and often uncomfortable atmosphere of congressional hearings when personal tragedies are brought directly before lawmakers.

Coleman’s powerful testimony continued to emphasize the urgency of his call for accountability and policy changes. He insisted that true sorrow would manifest in direct action and support for affected families, rather than mere verbal condolences, reinforcing his demand for tangible results.

This endorsement follows an earlier one from former President Donald Trump, consolidating Republican support for Donalds. Eric Bolling questioned Donalds, "you earned his endorsement on Tuesday, a couple days ago, very late after the primary. President Trump was the early endorser of Byron Donalds with Dantis. Did you did you bury the hatchet?" The focus now shifts to presenting a united Republican front for the general election.

Donalds confirmed that a private dinner and phone conversation took place with Governor DeSantis after the primary. These discussions paved the way for the endorsement, which many see as a crucial step toward ensuring Republican continuity in Florida's leadership. The aim is to maintain conservative control of the state, especially as the general election approaches.

Byron Donalds dismissed suggestions of friction with Governor DeSantis regarding the timing of the endorsement, stating, "No, honestly, everybody was just staying focused on the future of Florida. uh the governor um you know he had his decision-making process he wanted to go through and I respect that and what matters now is that the Republican party in Florida we are united." He emphasized mutual respect for each other's decision-making processes.

Donalds articulated that the primary goal now is to preserve Florida's status as a 'free state' by continuing to implement conservative principles. He highlighted the importance of unity within the Republican party to achieve this objective, steering the conversation away from any perceived past disagreements.

He stressed that the focus is on the state's ongoing policy trajectory and ensuring that Florida remains a beacon of conservative governance. This outlook reinforces the message that party unity is paramount for the upcoming general election.

The reconciliation process between Governor Ron DeSantis and Byron Donalds involved a series of communications. Donalds revealed, "the governor and I had a we had a phone conversation a couple days after the primary. Very good conversation." This initial contact set the stage for further discussions.

The second phase of their reconciliation included a personal meeting where they had dinner at a restaurant in St. Pete. These discussions reportedly focused on policy issues and strategies to maintain Republican control in Florida, solidifying their unified front ahead of the general election.

Donalds stated, "he just wanted to just pick my brain on a couple of key policy issues, things that I believe were important to him and all the work that he's done in the state of Florida." He detailed key priorities aimed at directly impacting citizens' financial well-being.

Among the top priorities are lowering housing costs and reducing insurance premiums, issues that have significantly affected Floridians. Donalds aims to implement strategies that provide tangible relief, ensuring that the state remains an accessible and desirable place to live.

He also underscored the importance of preparing the next generation for leadership roles in Florida, suggesting a commitment to long-term governance and continuity. This vision includes fostering policies that support economic growth and community development, building upon the foundations laid by the current administration.

He stated, "We are going to have that commission do a full review of all taxes and fees in Florida with a goal of eliminating homestead property taxes." This initiative aims to reduce the financial burden on homeowners.

Donalds highlighted Amendment 3 as a priority, emphasizing its importance for public safety funding. This amendment is crucial for ensuring that emergency services and law enforcement agencies are adequately resourced to protect communities across the state.

He also underscored the need to establish a future tax and budget reform commission. This body would be tasked with conducting a thorough review of all taxes and fees, with the ultimate goal of achieving substantial property tax relief for Floridians.

Furthermore, Donalds stressed the importance of respecting the distinct differences between urban and rural counties when developing tax structures. He acknowledged that a one-size-fits-all approach might not be effective and that policies should be tailored to address the unique economic and social conditions of diverse regions within Florida.

He stated, "I think it's capturing way more information than what they're letting on. And we've seen the abuse." DeSantis's remarks highlight a growing skepticism about the extent and use of surveillance technology.

He cited specific concerns about the misuse of this data by law enforcement agencies, implying that the current regulations might not be sufficient to prevent privacy violations. This issue connects to broader debates about civil liberties and government oversight in the digital age.

DeSantis also linked the issue of surveillance to potential government overreach, drawing parallels to incidents observed during crises like those in 2020. His comments suggest a cautious approach to technology that can gather extensive personal information, particularly when it might be used to monitor citizens without adequate safeguards.

Donalds confirmed he met with the Florida Sheriff's Association to address privacy concerns related to these cameras. He advocated for the implementation of strict criminal penalties for any abuse of surveillance data, aiming to deter unauthorized access and misuse of personal information.

He expressed his support for Governor DeSantis’s decision to remove these cameras from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) rights-of-way. This move is seen as a crucial step in preventing indiscriminate surveillance and protecting citizens' privacy rights.

Donalds also highlighted the importance of balancing public safety with individual liberties, arguing that while technology can be beneficial, it must be deployed with clear boundaries and strong oversight. He maintains that security should not come at the expense of fundamental constitutional rights.

He viewed any potential legal action as an unproductive use of city resources, emphasizing that alternative methods exist for maintaining public safety without resorting to extensive surveillance. This stance reinforces his commitment to both security and privacy.

Donalds drew parallels between this issue and his previous efforts to push for criminal penalties in the reauthorization of FISA 702. This connection highlights a consistent approach to government oversight and the protection of civil liberties across different legislative contexts.

Donalds further criticized Jolly for his support of codifying Roe v. Wade and his alignment with Dr. Fauci during the pandemic, suggesting these positions are out of step with conservative values. He sought to paint Jolly as a liberal disguised as a moderate.

He accused Jolly of advocating for higher taxes and government-run insurance programs, arguing that these policies align with socialist agendas. These claims are central to Donalds's strategy of distinguishing himself as a true conservative option for Florida voters.

Donalds's rhetoric emphasizes the perceived threat of socialist policies infiltrating Florida politics, framing the election as a critical choice between conservative governance and a more left-leaning agenda represented by Jolly.

Byron Donalds asserted that Democratic Socialists are essentially rebranded communists, stating, "They've been around a long time and before they started calling themselves democratic socialists, they call themselves what they actually are, communists. And they realized that communism was never going to get support in America. So, they changed their name to be democratic socialists." He warned that their ideology poses a significant threat to American democratic institutions.

Donalds argued that the policies advocated by democratic socialists would lead to the elimination of the electoral college and the Senate, fundamentally altering the structure of American governance. He views these proposed changes as an attack on foundational constitutional principles.

He further warned that allowing democratic socialists to gain a foothold in American politics could lead to the kind of destabilization observed in some European cities. This comparison aims to underscore the potential negative consequences of adopting socialist policies.

Donalds’s strong stance reflects a broader conservative concern about the ideological direction of the Democratic party and its potential impact on the nation's political and social fabric. He emphasized that vigilance is necessary to protect American values from what he perceives as a dangerous ideological movement.

He enthusiastically endorsed Buc-ee's, stating, "Buc-ee's. You only have to go in one time to realize that, man. When they listen, I will tell people if you haven't been to one, just take a road trip and just trust me." This lighthearted moment provided a glimpse into his personal tastes.

Donalds particularly praised Buc-ee's food selection, highlighting the brisket and pulled pork as must-try items. His endorsement underscores the unique appeal and fan loyalty associated with the popular travel center chain.

He suggested, "I think that we should put thousands of flock cameras up around the polling places, around the drop boxes, and around the neighborhoods where the polling places and the drop boxes are." This proposal aims to increase oversight of election activities.

The stated intent behind this suggestion is to track ballot drop-off and overall voting activity more closely, potentially deterring fraud and enhancing perceived security. This idea, however, raises significant privacy concerns, contrasting with calls for stricter regulations on surveillance technology.
