Democrats refuse to condemn socialism
원본 영상 8:05One hundred ninety-two House Democrats voted against a resolution that would condemn socialism in all its forms, including the Democratic Socialists of America. Only eight Democrats crossed party lines to support condemnation. Two voted present. The remaining members of the caucus, including Democratic leadership, could not bring themselves to say socialism is bad.
The resolution aimed specifically to denounce the DSA and socialist policy goals. The vote marked what the host characterized as a long march toward normalization of the ideology within the party.
