ChatGPT Work Creates Interactive Forecasts

He explained that ChatGPT Work now automates much of this process, saving considerable effort and time. The setup involves five distinct steps, beginning with opening the ChatGPT desktop app and switching to ChatGPT Work mode, which is also accessible via the web.

Users initiate the process by dropping a link to their forecast spreadsheet into ChatGPT Work and providing product context related to the decision being evaluated. Subsequently, users instruct ChatGPT on the intended audience for the review, the specific decision to be made, and its due date. Following these inputs, the system is prompted to construct an interactive site.

The resulting "site" serves as an interactive platform where leadership can compare forecasts and test specific assumptions, offering a middle ground between a traditional spreadsheet and a presentation. These sites are designed to be simple enough for executive reviews, yet unlike static slide decks, they provide real-time interaction and can run various scenarios dynamically. This capability allows for immediate feedback on potential changes.

Before officially approving the interactive forecast, users must check all generated results against the original model to ensure accuracy. This final step involves reviewing the exact proposed changes. The entire process allows users to transform their forecasts into dynamic, interactive sites that can be utilized by CFOs and other leaders without altering the original spreadsheet data.
