El-Sayed's Alliance with Hasan Piker Sparks Backlash in Tight Michigan Senate Race

Steve Bannon opened the discussion by characterizing the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) as proponents of a revolutionary overthrow of the existing U.S. government system. He asserted that the DSA rejects conventional political discourse, focusing instead on dismantling the capitalist system to establish a 'democratic socialist republic of North America'. Bannon emphasized that the DSA's agenda is not merely progressive but aims for a fundamental transformation of American society.

He stated that such sentiments reflect a broader animosity towards the United States, particularly targeting 'white Christian Americans' and their historical contributions. Cortes concluded that this opposition is not just political but an attack on the foundational values and people who built the nation.

Cortes revealed preliminary, unpublished polling data from the Daily Signal, indicating that the race is currently a "horse race" with a close margin. He stressed the significance of this particular election, given El-Sayed's radical associations and the implications for the U.S. Senate. The full polling data is expected to be released publicly soon, offering more detailed insights into voter preferences and potential outcomes in this critical state.

He cited polling data where voters were informed of Piker's controversial statement that "America deserved 9/11." According to Cortes, 64% of Michigan voters, or two-thirds, reported being less likely to vote for El-Sayed after learning of this connection and Piker's remarks. Cortes emphasized the careful methodology of his informed ballots to avoid influencing survey results, ensuring the credibility of this significant finding.

This decline in support occurs once they are informed of El-Sayed's campaigning with Hasan Piker and Piker's contentious comments on 9/11. The data suggests that even traditional Democratic voters are sensitive to associations with radical views, indicating a potential vulnerability for El-Sayed in the upcoming election.

Michigan, having experienced substantial Muslim migration particularly in areas like Dearborn and Hamtramck, showed an overwhelming sentiment that there is "too much Muslim migration" rather than "too few." Cortes reported a 6:1 margin in favor of this view, highlighting a strong public sentiment on the issue.

Steve Cortes presented additional polling data that revealed a stark disparity in Michigan voters' sentiments towards Christian versus Muslim migration. Among seniors in Michigan, only 3% believed the state was "worse off" due to Christian migration. In contrast, 36% of seniors stated that Michigan was "worse off" for Muslim migration. This significant difference suggests distinct public perceptions and concerns associated with different migrant groups.

He stated that some migrant groups are not demonstrating efforts to assimilate and do not live in ways consistent with Western societal norms. Furthermore, Cortes expressed that these groups do not appear to believe in or love the United States, fueling public apprehension about their integration into the national fabric.

He contended that the public is actively seeking leadership on this matter and that conservatives should not shy away from addressing it head-on. Cortes asserted that mass Muslim migration is fundamentally inconsistent with American values and will not contribute to the nation's success, urging leaders to articulate this stance clearly and decisively.

This suggests El-Sayed's win was heavily reliant on a specific demographic, rather than widespread appeal across diverse voter groups.

He claimed that the Democratic Party at the decision-maker level, including elected officials and party operatives, has become entirely radicalized. However, at the voter level, Cortes observed that many still vote Democrat due to historical biases. He posited that some of these legacy voters could be persuaded either to abstain from voting in this election or to switch their allegiance to Mike Rogers, capitalizing on their potential discomfort with the party's radical turn. This strategy aims to leverage the ideological gap within the Democratic base to Rogers' advantage.

He specifically criticized calls for a "North American confederation," stating that such proposals are antithetical to the existence of the United States of America. Cortes emphasized the need for a firm pushback against these ideas, asserting that they are unacceptable and incompatible with American sovereignty and values.
