Kentucky Dom Releases New Single, Rejects Ideological Molds
He described growing up being explicitly told how to vote, speak, and what music to listen to as a black man in America.
As he matured, he decided to reject 'woke' ideology, instead embracing his conservative upbringing and identifying primarily as a 'black man in America' due to his Kentucky roots, rather than 'African-American'.
"I was always taught that you're black, you're African-American, you have to vote like this, you have to speak like this, you have to listen to this kind of music. And as I got older, I said, 'Wait a minute. You know what? I can think for myself.'"
