Living Faith Church Kicks Off Youth Convention with Prayer for 'Next Levels' and Supernatural Breakthroughs

The Covenant Hour of Prayer session began with a strong invitation for attendees to vocalize their personal desires before God. The emphasis was on the biblical promise of asking, seeking, and knocking, assuring participants that their prayers would not be in vain. The speaker stressed the importance of not leaving the prayer session unchanged, urging individuals to anticipate a transformative experience.

The goal for attendees was to receive similar hundredfold blessings and experience tangible breakthroughs.

The congregation was exhorted to pray with unwavering boldness and confidence, reminded of God's consistent track record of answering prayers. The speaker declared that God, who has intervened in the past, would surely do so again. A direct quote from Isaiah 45:11, "Command you me concerning the work of my hands," was invoked to inspire a posture of authoritative prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

A new prayer agenda was introduced, focusing on the ministers at the ongoing AYAC 2026. The request was for open heavens to descend upon them, facilitating unusual revelations. The purpose of this divine impartation was to equip the ministers with grace for 'next levels' of spiritual insight and anointing. This prayer aimed to ensure that the messages delivered during the convention would be profoundly impactful, leading participants to higher spiritual dimensions.

The prayer leader invoked the "mighty rushing wind of the Holy Ghost" to compel a massive in-gathering of men, women, and children. This initiative aimed to mobilize the entire congregation in fervent prayer for supernatural expansion and unprecedented numbers of new converts.

The Prayer Leader referenced Matthew 11:28, where Jesus invites the burdened to come to Him for rest. A crucial aspect emphasized was the importance of remembering kingdom matters even while presenting personal requests, thereby linking individual desires with the broader goals of church advancement.

A testifier shared a powerful testimony of overcoming 15 years of career stagnation. Despite being due for promotion to deputy registrar, the individual faced a prolonged delay. However, by engaging in prayer and active participation in kingdom advancement endeavors, a supernatural breakthrough occurred. The testifier reported an unimaginable decoration of life and career, achieving the long-awaited promotion after intensive commitment to spiritual activities.

This dedication resulted in complete freedom from the ailment, with the testifier attributing the healing to the "God of Bishop David Oyedepo."

It was argued that the growth and expansion of the church represent the greatest threat to the powers of darkness, with the devil identified as the primary adversary of church advancement. Drawing references from Matthew 16:18 and Matthew 5:14, the church was affirmed as the light of the world, destined to prevail against all opposition.

It was noted that Bishop David Oyedepo was divinely led to establish this initiative "when the cloud was thick," signifying a crucial period for the church. The emphasis was placed on the foundational belief that sustained church growth is impossible without a dedicated commitment to prayer.

An important teaching was given on individual responsibility in prayer, asserting that personal faith must remain independent of others' engagement or lack thereof. The speaker explicitly stated that "another man's unbelief cannot affect your faith," cautioning against allowing the disengagement of others to diminish personal commitment. This principle underscored that individual standing and consistent effort are the primary mechanisms for achieving desired results, citing Nehemiah's solitary prayer in rebuilding the wall as an example of individual dedication.

The session reiterated the strong link between active kingdom service and personal breakthroughs, using recent testimonies as evidence. One powerful example highlighted a man who overcame 15 years of job stagnation in his career. According to the speaker, this individual engaged committedly in kingdom service, which led to the supernatural destruction of the long-standing stagnation, resulting in two deputy registrar slots becoming available for him. Another testimony mentioned an individual who received physical healing while actively engaging in outreach to others, further emphasizing the principle that serving God can unlock personal blessings.

The Covenant Hour of Prayer segment of the Annual Youth Alive Convention concluded today, Friday. The speaker announced that the convention would transition into its final phase with an Impartation Service scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, August 22nd. This service is anticipated to be a significant event for attendees, marking the culmination of the convention's spiritual journey.
