Migrant Dinghy Launches Unabated From French Coast

Approximately 50 individuals gathered on a French beach in the dark, awaiting a boat launch, with many wearing life jackets. The exact location of the dinghy remained unconfirmed during the initial observations.

Patrick Christys noted the significant number, stating, "Yeah, there's probably about 50 people here. It goes all the way back."

Migrant groups were observed in three distinct locations along the French coast, indicating a coordinated effort. One group was situated within a World War II bunker.

Two other groups were found in separate wooded areas, with a reported 12-minute travel distance between them, suggesting dispersed staging points for the operation. Patrick Christys explained, "We are aware that there are one camp of migrants there in a World War II bunker. Another camp of them in the woods and there's some in some other woods 12 minutes away."

French police were present near an estuary, equipped with night vision goggles and stationed in police vehicles. Despite their presence, they did not intervene to stop the migrants from moving towards the beach.

Patrick Christys observed their actions, suggesting that the officers appeared to be illuminating the route for the migrants rather than actively preventing their passage. He stated, "The French police aren't doing anything to stop them at the moment, and I don't want to criticize them before they've had the chance to do that, but from what I can see at the minute, it looks a lot like they are just lighting their route from here down to the beach."

Patrick Christys claimed the migrants are attempting to enter Britain to access the country's tax-funded social welfare system. He specifically cited potential benefits such as housing, accommodation, food, education for children, and healthcare, all paid for by British taxpayers.

Christys criticized the migrants for allegedly resisting camera coverage, while outlining the extensive social provisions they might seek to utilize upon arrival. He stated, "I mean they are about to break into Britain and get British taxpayers to pay for everything. Housing, accommodation, food and education for their kids, health care, all of it."

French police were observed consolidating various groups of migrants into a single location, which the reporter interpreted as a precursor to a coordinated departure. This action led to an estimated nearly 100 people gathering in the vicinity.

Ultimately, after what appeared to be a missed launch window, the groups returned to the woods, indicating a delay or change in the planned crossing. Patrick Christys noted, "What we think is happening is that the police have been shephering them a bit all into one place. So, they're now going to go and meet up."

At a second location in the sand dunes, 25 to 30 migrants successfully boarded a boat destined for the UK. A French lifeboat vessel was observed nearby during this operation.

Migrants utilized the sand dunes to reach the shoreline, facilitating their access to the waiting vessel. Patrick Christys reported, "We're here in the sand dunes now at the second location where 25 to 30 illegal migrants have just got on a boat. So there's a French life vessel which is to the right."

Estimates suggested that 20-25 people were boarding per trip, with Christys noting, "You'll probably be able to see the silhouette of all of those people wading out to that boat as we speak." The process highlighted a systematic approach to illegal crossings.

One French official was specifically seen shining a light to assist the migrants with their departure. Patrick Christys explicitly stated, "You've got the French border force guiding them who are helping illuminate the water for them."

Smugglers were identified among the migrants, attempting to blend in, yet distinguishable by specific attire. They were seen wearing balaclavas and life jackets.

Patrick Christys noted their presence, highlighting, "There's the smugglers with the live jackets on the balaclavas." This observation suggested a level of organization and concealment within the groups attempting the crossing.

French police were observed controlling the flow of migrants, holding back groups and releasing them in smaller packs onto the boats. This highly organized approach was described by the reporter as an operation managed by French authorities.

Patrick Christys stated, "This is an incredibly wellorganized operation by the French authorities. They hold them back. They let a small pack go." This implies a deliberate and systematic process for managing the departures.

He stated, "French police are turfing us off the beach because one of our security guys has left his pass in the car. These are undocumented illegal migrant men breaking into Britain."
