West Bank Settler Violence Intensifies

The owner of the house filmed the damage himself, documenting broken doors, shattered windows, and even damaged toilet facilities. The Marmu Toubasiyeh family testified that they were hindered by settlers while returning after being displaced by the violence.

Israeli settlers obstructed the return of Palestinian residents, blocked roads, and committed arson against structures and vehicles.

During this process, settlers threw stones at Israeli security forces, injuring three Israeli border police officers. On the same night, arson attacks on vehicles and homes also occurred in a nearby village.

One victim testified that he witnessed a settler entering his home with gasoline through the kitchen window.

He then explained that another settler lit the fire and threw it through the window, causing a fire inside the kitchen.

Regarding these acts of violence, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed a tendency to downplay West Bank settler violence.

A senior UN official criticized the situation as 'morally, legally, and politically unacceptable,' expressing grave international concern.
