Former NBA player and political commentator Royce White declares his intention to run for president, focusing on election integrity and moral leadership.
White characterized Minnesota as a "failed communist state" run by individuals aiming to subvert the country, an assertion he based on his observations.
He referenced a Project Veritas investigation, which, according to White, alleged that poll workers encouraged vouching for multiple individuals, contributing to his lack of optimism regarding future election outcomes.
White questioned the reported voting patterns in Minnesota, particularly the alleged 200,000 or more Trump supporters who also voted for Amy Klobuchar in 2024.
Such a result, in White's view, suggests either a failure of secure elections or a significant, inexplicable shift in political sentiment among conservative voters.
He personally found these statistics difficult to reconcile with the prevailing political climate and the general disapproval of Klobuchar among conservatives.
White characterized Minnesota's issues, including identity politics and anti-ICE protests, as indicative of broader national trends.
From White's perspective, these problems, along with the perceived failure of “soft-bellied conservatism,” highlight a national decline where traditional values are not being upheld.
He facetiously stated his intent to debut in the 2027 WNBA draft, using this hypothetical scenario to draw attention to current identity discussions.
White argued that the nation has reached a critical juncture where a fundamental choice must be made between adherence to God and secularism.
According to White, society and government require moral and ethical standards that cannot be sustained without a divine foundation.
He positioned this "referendum" as the most critical issue facing the country, especially for secular conservatives who prioritize fiscal policy over moral principles.
He contended that the party alienates its base by selecting openly pro-choice candidates.
These actions, White argued, represent a failure to genuinely address the needs and principles of Christian voters.
He vowed to challenge mainstream Republican candidates like Chris Christie or Tim Scott, expressing his determination to prevent them from leading the party's platform.
White framed the U.S. Senate as a "theater" heavily influenced by what he terms the "deep state" and lobbyists.
He emphasized his commitment to a platform focused on integrity and accountability.
He criticized the nation's reliance on foreign labor for basic agricultural tasks and asserted that a 60-year focus on STEM programs has not adequately prepared native-born Americans for the workforce.
White interpreted the Minnesota election outcome as a fundamental referendum between adherence to God and self-reliance.
He critiqued the election of an "openly pro-choice" candidate, viewing it as a choice that compromises moral principles.
White described money as a corrupting interest, often conflicting with genuine human needs.
He linked this outcome to selling out the country to financial interests, predicting results driven by monetary concerns.
He contended that low turnout combined with establishment narratives undermine the general election prospects.
White warned that establishment candidates, such as Michelle Tafoya, fail to effectively challenge the far-left agenda.
He expressed concern that this lack of strong opposition contributes to a cycle of political complacency and ineffective leadership.
He expressed frustration with Christians who publicly profess faith but support pro-abortion candidates, perceiving a deep moral conflict.
White questioned how such supporters reconcile their faith with political strategies that disregard the sanctity of life.
He declared his refusal to accept collective responsibility for these political choices, viewing them as individual moral failings.
He asserted that justice is absent when high-profile figures, according to White, can evade accountability.
White connected this perceived systemic failure to the broader political complacency observed among the citizenry.
He concluded that the ability of figures like Dr. Fauci to remain free, despite White's accusations, signifies the demise of true justice in America.
He reiterated that Freedom is a political asylum recipient and therefore a "guest," suggesting a subordinate status due to his reliance on the State Department and CIA for asylum.
He linked this stance on the CIA to his broader political platform, which emphasizes challenging established power structures.
White explicitly denied being "suicidal" while making these claims against federal intelligence, underscoring the seriousness of his intent.
He expressed his conviction that the agency does not favor his political aspirations and must therefore be neutralized.
He dismissed the possibility of the "Save America Act" passing, viewing current Republican leaders, such as John Thune, as ineffective at governing.
White rejected political strategies based on "hope and prayer" in favor of direct and decisive action to implement his agenda.
He framed election integrity as the fundamental prerequisite for national progress.
White then transitioned to promoting his daily radio show and broader political movement, emphasizing the urgency of his agenda.
He asserted that decisive action is necessary to address the perceived vulnerabilities in the electoral process and move the country forward.
