People Power Party's Landslide Victory, Democratic Party's Crushing Defeat in Yeoju·Yangpyeong Amid Yangpyeong Highway Gate Controversy

In the last local elections, the Yangpyeong County Commissioner election concluded with a landslide victory for People Power Party candidate Jeon Jin-sun, who secured re-election. Candidate Jeon won by approximately 2,800 votes, thwarting the Democratic Party's expectations.
