Astra 6 vs Fable 5.1: Which is Faster and More Accurate?

According to Code Factory's comparison, producing GTA with Astra 6 took 25 minutes and 28 seconds, while Fable 5.1 took 1 hour, 25 minutes, and 48 seconds. Astra 6 completed the task over three times faster than Fable 5.1.

Even though Astra 6 used fast mode, this speed difference is overwhelming and reaffirms Astra's speed advantage observed in benchmark tests.

Buildings and facilities, in particular, were well-rendered, resulting in a visually satisfying output.

However, there were clear limitations in terms of gameplay. The map appeared empty with no facilities or interactive elements, and even moving to mission locations did not trigger events, making actual gameplay impossible.

It also clearly marked areas for weapon purchases and mission locations, implementing actual in-game interactive elements.

Notably, it incorporated core game simulation features like vehicle physics engines, NPC elimination, and hospital respawn upon death, making actual gameplay possible.

Code Factory explained that after test driving various cars, heavy cars felt realistically weighty, while light cars felt genuinely light.

This is a crucial point, demonstrating Fable 5.1's ability to deeply understand and implement core physics engines and interaction mechanisms beyond simple graphic reproduction.

In the SimCity game implementation test, the two AI models showed similar tendencies. Astra 6 took 21 minutes, while Fable 5.1 took about 1 hour. Astra 6, leveraging its image generation capabilities, showed excellence in visual city implementation. However, similar to GTA, it lacked sufficient system implementation for actual gameplay.

Fable 5.1, on the other hand, while slower, implemented some functions like structure creation and road construction, demonstrating a stronger capability in building core game systems. However, both models still had areas needing improvement, such as texture errors.

It was likened to drawing a good picture.

Fable 5.1, however, perfectly implemented actual game mechanics like connecting power lines and water pipes. It was designed to simulate the process of users building a city and supplying power and water.

Furthermore, Fable 5.1 included detailed elements found in real city management simulation games, such as level and tier systems and policy settings, providing a highly complete gameplay experience.

The website creation test also highlighted the characteristics of the two models. Astra 6 quickly implemented a clean, sophisticated, GPT-style website, providing visually satisfying results. This seems useful for creating a basic website quickly.

Fable 5.1, on the other hand, boasted high completeness by implementing detailed UI interactions that enhance user experience, such as mouse cursor reactions, scroll interactions, and unwrapping effects. It was designed to go beyond simple information delivery, allowing users to enjoy interacting with the website.

Thus, Astra 6 demonstrated significantly faster processing speeds than Fable 5.1 across various types of tasks, showing strength in situations requiring rapid output.

Code Factory provided a guide for selecting the appropriate AI tool based on user preferences. For users who are impatient and desire fast results, Astra 6 was recommended. Astra 6 can quickly generate desired results through continuous modification instructions, making it suitable for users who aim to achieve their goals through rapid iterative work.

Conversely, for users who prefer highly complete results from just a single initial prompt, Fable 5.1 is more advantageous. Fable 5.1 can faithfully implement game systems, interactions, and detailed UIs with initial instructions alone, providing satisfactory results without additional modifications.

Therefore, users can choose the AI model that best suits them by considering the priority of their task (speed or completeness).

Benchmark tests clearly showed Astra 6 to be much faster than Fable 5.1. In all tasks, Astra 6 produced results more quickly than Fable 5.1. However, when evaluating the completeness of results for immediate real-world use, Fable 5.1 was concluded to be superior.

This suggests that when choosing an AI model, one should not base the decision solely on speed, but comprehensively consider the practical applicability and completeness of the final output. While Astra 6 may be efficient for quickly fleshing out ideas or creating prototypes, Fable 5.1 could be a better choice if the goal is a commercializable product.
