Tuesday Team Secures 1st Place in Returns… SNT Energy and Taeung on the Rise

However, Park Yong-jin PB pointed out that the stock is currently facing resistance at the long-term moving average on the chart and advised observing whether it recovers its opening price.

Park Yong-jin PB explained, "The biggest factor seems to be the 128.2 billion won contract for the Hadong LNG combined cycle power plant. This was a significant disclosure, amounting to about 20% of last year's sales, which seems to have led to a good performance. However, what we need to watch is that it's currently hitting the long-term moving average on the chart and falling back from that position."

Taeung was evaluated as a stock that could benefit from various sectors including shipbuilding materials, SMR (Small Modular Reactors), and offshore wind power. Hwang Dae-geun PB analyzed that the increase in trading volume, along with movements in these sectors, would drive further gains for Taeung. He highly rated Taeung's stock appeal, anticipating a rotational rally in US investment-related sectors until September 18.

Hwang Dae-geun PB said, "I saw a lot of trading volume come into Taeung on Next Trade. It's related to shipbuilding materials, SMR, and offshore wind power, so I brought it in because I thought Taeung could benefit when these sectors move. I think the US investment-related sectors will all see a rally at some point until September 18."

Tess, a semiconductor materials, components, and equipment (Soo-Boo-Jang) stock, was recommended as a promising stock for tomorrow's trading. Tess supplies to SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics, providing essential protective film technology for the advanced stacking processes of 100-layer, 200-layer, and 300-layer NAND flash. This technology, which compensates for instability during high-단 stacking, is emerging as a core competitive advantage.

Park Yong-jin PB explained, "You can think of Tess as a company that makes protective films. It supplies to semiconductor giants like Hynix and Samsung Electronics. As NAND stacks increase to 100, 200, or 300 layers, we need to etch deeper, but if we try to etch deeper without protection, the etching becomes unstable and inaccurate, which is why a protective film is needed on top," emphasizing Tess's role.

Tess showed high growth, with new orders in the second quarter nearly doubling compared to the previous quarter. Park Yong-jin PB chose Tess after much deliberation with Wonik IPS, citing Tess's stronger revenue growth performance as the basis for his decision.

Park Yong-jin PB explained the background of his selection, stating, "In fact, new orders in the second quarter showed a nearly twofold increase compared to the previous quarter. Given these points, I deliberated a lot with Wonik IPS. However, Tess showed a stronger trend in sales performance, which is why I chose Tess."

The short-term catalyst for Tess's investment was identified as the rebalancing of the KRX Semiconductor ETF. This is expected to lead to an inflow of approximately 140 billion won in passive funds, which is analyzed to have a positive impact on Tess's stock price.

Park Yong-jin PB explained, "Looking at short-term catalysts, as I mentioned earlier, a rebalancing of the semiconductor ETF in KRX is inevitable... Tess is expected to see an inflow of passive funds amounting to about 140 billion won."

Hwang Dae-geun PB projected a sideways market for September and selected HVM as a promising stock from a rotational trading perspective. Major events in the aerospace sector, such as the scheduled SpaceX Starship launch in mid-September and the MSPO Defense Exhibition in Poland from September 8 to 11, are expected to positively impact HVM's stock price.

Hwang Dae-geun PB explained his selection, saying, "First of all, I anticipate the overall market in September to be range-bound, and I've brought in aerospace from the perspective that rotational trading will continue. There's also the scheduled SpaceX Starship launch in mid-September, and the MSPO exhibition in Poland is from September 8 to 11."

HVM has entered a moving average convergence zone, indicating high technical expectations for an upward movement. Hwang Dae-geun PB analyzed that the stock price could sufficiently rise to the long-term moving average, even conservatively. Furthermore, a rebound in SpaceX's stock price in the US is expected to lead to a concomitant rise in related domestic stocks like HVM.

Hwang Dae-geun PB stated, "Even looking at the chart pattern, I like this kind of shape. The moving averages are converging, and I think, even conservatively, it can sufficiently rise to the long-term moving average," expressing a positive view on HVM's technical trend.

HVM is currently in a low-price range, and the selling pressure from overhead resistance is not significant, according to analysis. Park Yong-jin PB predicted that a 20-30% increase could be easily achieved. He also emphasized that when investing in Korean companies within the aerospace industry, attention should be paid to companies with technological capabilities in manufacturing, like HVM, thus positively evaluating its corporate value.

Park Yong-jin PB stated, "When it's at such a low point, the selling pressure from overhead resistance isn't that great. Anyway, I think it's a position where it could easily go up by about 20-30%. And in the case of aerospace, if we're going to invest in Korean companies in the aerospace sector, we should pay close attention to companies involved in manufacturing, like this one," positively evaluating the company's value.

Tess, in particular, was assessed to have sufficient potential for further gains despite having hit resistance twice.

Park Yong-jin PB stated, "I believe that the top two semiconductor stocks on the KOSPI will maintain a range-bound movement, but I see Soo-Boo-Jang stocks differently. Soo-Boo-Jang stocks also play a role as individual stocks. In the case of Tess, it has already hit resistance about twice while trying to rise. So, I think there will be sufficient additional gains going forward."
