Brexit Causes 4% Annual Loss to UK GDP
The OBR, the UK government's official fiscal forecasting body, assumed that Brexit would lead to a long-term reduction of approximately 15% in UK exports and imports.
The OBR estimated that the UK's GDP is losing about 4% annually compared to a scenario without Brexit, while other research institutions like NIESR estimated the loss to be between 5% and 8%.
