Grillo Alleges Years of Unpaid Labor at Howard Stern Show
Jump to 6:07Steve Grillo, a former intern at the Howard Stern Show, publicly complained about not being paid for six years during his tenure. Grillo characterized this unpaid work as illegal and akin to slavery at the time. He further revealed that when he eventually received a salary, it was capped at 30 hours per week, seemingly to prevent him from qualifying for health insurance benefits. Grillo ultimately quit after his requests for a 40-hour work week and a raise were denied, leading him to believe the compensation structure was deliberately exploitative.
