The man the protagonist meets again outside the house reveals that he lived in this house before the protagonist's family moved in. The man begins, "A long time ago, before your family moved in, I lived in that house with my wife and grandson." He continues, "There was a fire. If I hadn't been drunk, if I hadn't fallen asleep with a cigarette, they would still be alive. My grandson, Deniska," confessing that his wife and grandson Deniska died in a fire two years ago due to his carelessness. The man explains that his family, now ghosts, have returned tonight for revenge, revealing a shocking truth.

"I think I know the way. But for that, may I enter your house? But you shouldn't let strangers in. I don't think they will leave your family alone until I enter the house," the man requests to enter the house.
