"Yoo Si-min, that bastard" Gwangju Drivers Incensed

Taxi drivers at Gwangju Songjeong Station pointed out that former lawmaker Jeong Cheong-rae made many mistakes in his past remarks. They expressed a negative view of his actions, which seemed to foment division and encourage competition within the party.

Taxi drivers criticized writer Yoo Si-min's inconsistent attitude regarding his remarks about Chairman Lee Jae-myung. They felt that a person should stick to one path instead of wavering. This criticism seems to have led to a withdrawal of support as Honam's past sense of alienation overlapped with writer Yoo Si-min's actions.

They claimed that Honam chose candidate Kim Min-seok as a reaction to their sense of alienation and to confirm their identity as a traditional support base.

Writer Yoo Si-min was dismissed as not even worth mentioning, eliciting an incensed reaction.

They offered the opinion that writer Yoo Si-min has reached the limit of his role as a political commentator.

Among taxi drivers, the opinion was raised that writer Yoo Si-min is 'even lower than Jin Joong-kwon.' This is interpreted to mean that the evaluation of writer Yoo Si-min is very negative.

The taxi driver pointed out that former President Moon Jae-in relied on public opinion but didn't know the reality of things. In contrast, Chairman Lee Jae-myung was seen as a politician who understands various fields well and comprehends Honam's sense of alienation. Regarding writer Yoo Si-min, he was strongly criticized, saying, 'Lee Jae-myung doesn't listen to him, so he talks nonsense.'

The taxi driver assessed that no past president truly cared for Honam. Even during former President Kim Dae-jung's time, Honam was poor, and Gyeongsang-do benefited more. They expressed the perception that Chairman Lee Jae-myung was the first to genuinely consider and show sincerity towards Honam's long-suppressed sense of alienation.

Taxi drivers negatively evaluated former Chairman Jeong Cheong-rae's actions as 'nonsense.' While they agreed with expanding the Democratic Party's support base, they expressed dissatisfaction with former Chairman Jeong Cheong-rae's approach.

They stated that they trust Chairman Lee Jae-myung's sincerity, not simply voting to protect vested interests. They revealed their desperate desire, even knowing the realistic difficulties of attempting re-election or constitutional amendment.

The reporter believed that while the Honam mega-project is economically beneficial, the core issue is Chairman Lee Jae-myung's sincerity. The gratitude for Chairman Lee Jae-myung, who approached Honam genuinely rather than using its sense of alienation as a political tool, formed the basis of their support.

They argued that writer Yoo Si-min should apologize for implying that Honam voted en masse to protect economic vested interests.
