Mukesh's 17-year-old goat, 'Buddha,' continues to build his reputation among Kota goat breeders, showcasing excellent fertility and lineage despite his advanced age.
Mukesh is a figure with extensive experience and reputation in the Kota goat field, while Amman is dedicated to spreading the Kota goat lineage in Mumbai.
They both play crucial roles in this field, demonstrating a deep understanding and passion for Kota goats.
Despite his advanced age, Buddha remains in robust health and continues to demonstrate excellent fertility.
This 15... this is Buddha, by the way... People ask, Buddha, the reason he's called Buddha is because his name was Buddha even when he was young.
Despite his advanced age, Buddha continues vigorous breeding activities. He mates with 30 to 35 goats during a single breeding season, maintaining strong and healthy legs that support this ability.
This fertility proves his value as an excellent stud animal, even in his old age.
This background shows that Buddha is not just an individual but is thriving by inheriting the excellence of a specific lineage.
Buddha's lineage is carried on by his descendants, who are recognized for their high value. His grandson 'Hind Kesari' and great-grandson 'Shiv Prakash' are prime examples. Shiv Prakash, in particular, is valued at 4 million rupees today, demonstrating his excellence.
This lineage is characterized by unique horn shapes among Kota goats, considered to be among the best horn forms in India.
He considers that decision his mistake and expressed regret over selling Buddha.
He later re-purchased Buddha and brought him back to the farm, now viewing Buddha as a symbol of good fortune for him.
He provides delicate care, such as feeding Buddha milk directly, to manage his health.
This devoted care shows that Buddha is more than just livestock; he is an important member of Mukesh's family. Mukesh prioritizes Buddha's health and happiness and continues to care for the legendary goat.
