Culture defined as the rules of reward and punishment
Hormozi opens by saying most videos about culture never define the term. He defines it as the rules that govern reinforcement, meaning reward and punishment, in a business.
These rules are often unspoken and people learn them firsthand through their own actions and secondhand by observing others.
His example: a person arrives late in their first week and nothing is said, so they learn that lateness is acceptable. The rule is set by what happens, not by what is written.
